Adina Crainiceanu is an Associate Professor in the Computer Science Department at the US Naval Academy. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Cornell University. She has conducted database and distributed systems related research for more than 15 years, and has published papers in premiere database conferences and journals. She is one of the founders of Rya and a PPMC member for Apache Rya.
